The WP3100C is a single gang NEMA 3R receptacle cover that ensures compliance with 2008 NEC Article 406.8 (B) (1), which requires that 15 and 20 ampere, 125 and 250 volt receptacles installed in a wet location have an enclosure that is weatherproof whether or not the attachment plug cap is inserted. They also meet the 1999 NEC Article 410-57(b) and are designed to meet the 1999 NEC Article 210-60(b), which requires that receptacles installed behind beds in hotels and motels be protected with a suitable guard.

The Plastic In-Use Weatherproof Covers are easy to install and include an adhered gasket, mounting screws, base, cover assembly, and inserts to meet the needs of a variety of applications. The WP3100C is shipped with a gasket, mounting screws, base, and cover assembly, as well as patented inserts.

The single gang Flexi-Guard series provides inserts for 16 different applications, and the WP3100C is designed to mount horizontally or vertically. The patented insert design ensures flexibility by simply inserting the proper insert into the base and cover assembly.

The WP3100C is WEATHERPROOF, meeting UL Type 3R outdoor enclosure standards and complying with 2020 NEC Article 314.15 for damp and wet locations, making it a reliable option for outdoor use. The EASY INSTALLATION process includes a 1/8" (3 mm) thick, pre-adhered neoprene gasket with slits for mounting screws to simplify the installation.

The HEAVY-DUTY CONSTRUCTION features a durable UV stabilized polycarbonate cover, mounting base, and inserts to provide long-lasting protection. The VERSATILE design features three inserts, including GFCI, standard duplex, Round and toggle, making it a great fit for various installations, and it can be mounted both vertically and horizontally.

The SECURE FIT is ensured by the patented insert design and single gang NEMA 3R receptacle cover, with a max cord size of (2) #14 AWG or (1) #12 AWG. Each unit measures: 5.75" x 4" x 2.75".
